Taheri Architecture was selected by DGS to perform Architectural and Engineering services for this new PennDOT Stockpile Facility.
This project covers multiple buildings, the infrastructure, sidewalks, ADA accessibility and site top wearing surface. The 8 buildings and structures, 20,000 GSF, $6.0 Million include:
1. Hi-arch - 100 x 120 glue-lam style Salt Storage Building
2A & 2B. 40 x 52 winter material storage buildings
3. A two-bay metal Equipment storage building
4. Personnel staging building 30 x 38 with bathroom
5. Truck Wash Building, and integrated 4-bay Tool Storage
6. Brine making building & brine storage tanks
7. A 10,000-gallon E-3 oil storage tank & containment area
8. An 8 truck plug-in-heater system with plow pad
